ABOUT THIS MID WALES TOUR
From there we enter the Brecon Beacons National Park, within moments o fentering the national park we stop at Pen y Crug a 2000 year old iron age hill fort rises up to the skyline, this the first of our walks with 360 degree breathtaking views over the Usk valley, a perfect spot for a selfie of you and your companions! After this we will be ready for lunch and a tour at the newly renovated Mill at Talgarth.
After lunch we head over to Tretower court and Castle, a 12th century castle and one of the finest 14th century medieval manor houses around, you will be able to explore the grounds and the history of this medieval fortified manor house.
On from here to Crickhowell, over Llangynnidr mountain with views to die for then onto Cyfartha Castle and museum. We then head to Waterfall country for the second walk and head for the beautiful Henrhyd waterfalls, which was the scene of the bat cave in The Dark Knight Rises in 2012. We then head over the military range across the first dual carriage way in Britain, past the purpose built mock German village and then home.
