Welcome To Pwllgwilym Bed & Breakfast, 4 star accommodation set in 60 acres of farm land, a short distance to the village of Cilmery, two miles from the old market town of Builth Wells.

We offer 3 spacious en-suite bedrooms... Each room has flat screen tv, fridge, tea & coffee facilities and hairdryer. Each room has a comfortable seating area, with free wifi available, non smoking rooms.

The Rooms

Gwenllian is our large King size room in our B&B near Builth Wells with its own en-suite, comfy leather chairs and perfect views looking over   the farm land and the hills. Llewelyn is our Large Super King size room at our Bed & Breakfast in Cilmery near Builth Wells. It has an en-suite which has separate shower & separate bath, comfy bed settee for accommodating a family room. This room can also be a twin room, good views over farmland. Glyndwr is our Ground floor room in our Bed & Breakfast in Cilmery close to Builth Wells with its own spacious wet room, Large Super King size bed or twin beds, ideal for Disabled & wheelchair users. This room can offer family accommodation with comfy bed settee.

All bed linen is Egyptian cotton which will ensure a comfortable night sleeps, we provide white fluffy towels and toileries.

Guest Information

Guest have their own entrance, outdoor sitting area with quite country surroundings. We have ample parking. A good hearty breakfast awaits you in the morning, keeping you going for the rest of the day. All local produce used and cooked while you enjoy our fresh fruit & cereals and then finish off with toast and local home made jams & marmalade. Pwllgwilym B&B has its own wild life walk around the farm, with pond, picnic area near the river, Red Kites nesting in the wood, wood land birds & sheep grazing in the fields. We also can offer accommodation for 2 Horses, having 2 new large stables in our Barn, beautiful riding area. For Cyclists we offer ample lock up space which is safe and secure, ideal cycling terrain right on the door step.

Access Statement

The B & B rooms are accesed from the flat tarmac frontage of the property, there is a flat path to the entrance door which meets a slabbed small ramp with a rail. There is a ground floor room suitable for wheelchair users and the dinning room at the end of the hall. Our other 2 bedrooms are on the second floor with a small flight of stairs.

Our Location

A quite and peaceful spot located in the heart of Mid Wales with out standing scenery close to Élan Valley dams, Eppynt Mountains, a short drive to the Cambrian Mountains, Abergwesyn Pass not to be missed, Brecon Beacons and Hay-on-Wye.(famous for its books) Outstanding Golf Courses close by which our B&B is 2 miles from Builth Wells Club, we can arrange a tee off time for you. Lots of Pony Trekking for all sorts of riders, ideal walking area with the Wye Valley walk almost on the doorstep. The Heart of Wales Line gives you the opportunity to view the countryside of Central Wales, with the station right in the village of Cilmery. We are an ideal base for just exploring Mid Wales with lots of knowledge of the area we can guide you around some scenic routes. Builth Wells can offer a good shopping experience, a walk along the river through the groe park, the Wyeside Theatre & Cinema & little café’s for that relaxing coffee. Good eating places in the vicinity, a table can be booked for you, we are 5 minutes walk away from our Village pub.
