April Tours
We taken a number of groups and couples on tours already this Spring, here are a couple of examples to give you an example of what you can expect on a Welsh Overland Safari tour;
A Rainy Trip around Abergwesyn!
We took a small group on our popular Abergwesyn Pass and Twm Sion Cati Cave's tour, and although there was a lot of rain it was an excellent trip. We started the tour at Pwllgwilyn Cottages and headed to the stunning Abergwesyn Pass where because of the rain we hurdled our way over some flooded Irish bridges!
The group stopped in Tregaron at The Talbort for lunch, where Richard set the group a task of finding the statue of the Welsh robin hood, Twm Sion Cati... after telling a tale or two about the Welsh legend!
Then it was onto the Elan Valley, where because of the rain the dams were flowing! We stopped for pictures and at the visitor centre for a hot drink before heading back to Cilmeri, a good day all round!
Central Beacons Tour & A Walk Behind a Waterfall
We took a couple, Rob & Toy on our central beacons tour which took in the picturesque Epynt and the visitor centre, arguably the old Yew tree in Europe at Defynnog and a trip over the military range, where we passed the interesting model German Village! However the highlight of the trip was a walk behind the Waterfall of snow, or known in Welsh Sgwd Yr Eira, near Ystradfellte! Although as you will see from the pictures the waterfall was overflowing, and we got soaked walking behind it, it was the highlight of the trip!
