Join us on our Father's Day Tour!
On Saturday 16th June we are holding a special Father's day tour of the Elan Valley, near Rhayader to celebrate the day specially reserved for your dad AND we still have a couple of places remaining!
The tour will not only take the usual highlights of our Grand tour of the Elan Valley which includes;
- All Four Dams
- The lesser known "unfinished" dam
- The Visitor Centre
- Wildlife
- Landscapes
- Great Picture opportunities
But there will also be a focus on the history of the dams including and construction and the engineering as well as learning about how in 1942 Barnes Wallace and his scientists carried out tests here with explosives subsequently used by the Dambusters in World War II!
